|Iñaki Galdos Irazabal. Oñati, 1966|
|A graduate of Basque Philology from the University of the Basque Country, he has worked in the field of education and media. Subsequently he went into Basque politics with various responsibilities in two political parties and in various public institutions: Council Member at Oñati City Hall, parliamentarian in the Basque Parliament, and Vice President of the Council of Gipuzkoa (the provincial government).Currently he works in different media networks and is immersed in up-and-coming communication projects in various fields.With the development and the launch of Basque Tribune he has met one of his dreams and life-long ambitions (probably emerging from his long and intense relationship with members of the broad Basque diaspora in the world), contributing to the knowledge and understanding of the reality of the Basque Country in the world in a new way, that is, away from the dynamics of day-to-day news and coming from prestigious and recognized experts on the matters addressed in this digital magazine. |Juan José Álvarez Rubio. Zumaia, 1964|
|Professor and Chair of Private International Law at the University of the Basque Country, he is a member of the Special Council at Cuatrecasas law firm. He is Secretary of Globernance (the Institute for Democratic Governance) and was also General Secretary of the Basque Council of European Movement “Eurobask”, as well as a member of many associations of academia. He is also a regular contributor to various media networks.
In 2015 he was awarded the prestigious Eusko Ikaskuntza-Laboral Kutxa of Humanities, Culture, Arts, and Social Sciences.

|Graduate in Business Administration and Computer Engineering from the University of Deusto, he completed part of his studies at the University of Richmond, in Virginia, United States. He currently works in the IT department of an industrial company in the Basque Country.|
|Francisco Javier Caballero Harriet. Zubiri, 1947|
|Professor and Department Chair of Philosophy of Law at the University of the Basque Country, he studied Law at the University of Deusto and the University of the Basque Country in San Sebastian, where he moved due to his activities as a professional hand ball player. In 1981 he defended his doctoral thesis on J.J. Rousseau.
He was the founder of the International Institute for the Sociology of Law in Oñati and is also author of numerous research projects, conferences and courses that have been published in recognized publications. He is guest Professor at several universities, as well as coordinator of the Latin American Network of Doctorate Programs of the University of the Basque Country. He has received numerous academic distinctions such as an Honorary Doctorate by the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.
The participation of Professor Caballero will no doubt be a rewarding experience contributing to the aim of Basque Tribune, showing the world the past, present and future of the Basque Country.

|Writer, journalist and translator. As a writer he has created plays, short stories, novels and essays and his work has been translated into Spanish, French, Catalan, English, German and Finnish. As a journalist he has been and is a regular contributor to various media networks. He was President of the Federation of Ikastolas (Basque Schools) in Navarre. He is corresponding member of Euskaltzaindia, the Academy of the Basque language.|

|With more than 25 years of experience in senior international management and passionate about new digital business development, Etxebeste is currently founder and CEO of Lokku Ltd., a company based in London dedicated to online real estate searching, using the Nestoria search engine.He has a long history with Yahoo!, having been General Director of searches and E-commerce at Yahoo! Europe and in 1999 was the first General Director at Yahoo! Spain, and President of Yahoo! Iberia until branching out with his own initiatives.
He was previously Sales Director at Pepsi and Chief Financial Officer for southern Europe of Pepsico Restaurants (Tricon). He has also worked for more than seven years in the world of consulting for firms like Bain&Co., Cluster-Diamond and The Mac Group.

|Educated at the universities of Cambridge, the University of the Basque Country, Freie (Berlin) and College of London, she holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy and is a Research Fellow at Queen’s University (CA), Edinburgh and Cambridge (UK). She is Associated Editor of the Cambridge University Journal of Politics (the Art of the Possible) and her last research papers have been published by Taylor and Francis, Routledge and Springer.|
|Daniel Innerarity. Bilbao, 1959|
|Daniel Innerarity (Bilbao, 1959) is Professor of Political and Social Philosophy, Doctor of Philosophy, Researcher at IKERBASQUE at the University of the Basque Country and Director of The Institute for Democratic Governance, Globernance, located in San Sebastian. He has been visiting professor in several European and American universities such as the University of the Sorbonne in Paris or at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies of the European Institute in Florence. He will be joining the European Institute of the London School of Economics soon.
He has authored many books on philosophy, sociology, ethics, governance… many of which have received important awards and International recognition. Many of them have been translated in France, England, Portugal, the United States, Italy and Canada.
He has also received a number of awards in recognition for his career including the prize for Humanities, Arts, Culture and Social Sciences of Eusko Ikaskuntza (Basque Studies Society) in 2008, and the Prince of Viana for Culture Award in 2013.
He has been member of the Council of Universities, nominated by the Spanish Senate. He belongs to the Academy of Latinity and the European Academy of Arts and Sciences, based in Salzburg.
He is a regular contributor to the editorial columns for various media. The French magazine “Le Nouvel Observateur” included him in 2004 on a list of 25 great thinkers of the world.
|Xabier Itçaina. Baiona, 1971|
|A CNRS Research Fellow in Political Science at the Emile Durkheim Centre (Sciences po Bordeaux) and Marie Curie Fellow at the EUI Florence, his Ph.D. (2000) focused on the links between Catholicism and collective identity in the French and Spanish Basque Country. His current research is focussed on three main themes: a) Catholicism and Politics in Southern Europe b) Territorial Dynamics of Social Economy c) Political Anthropology of Identity Politics in the Basque Country.|

|With a degree in Economic and Business Science from the University of Deusto Business School, he has been CEO of companies such as IAN SA and Viscofan Group for 18 years. He was Advisor of Caja Navarra and Metrovacesa. He is currently President of Tuttipasta and member of various advisory boards at diverse companies.
He is a member of the Advisory Board of CBS at the University of Reno, Patron of the Foundation for the Study of Historic Rights of Vasconia (FHEDAV) and Treasurer of the Basque Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters, JAKIUNDE.
As a Professor he has authored a book and numerous articles on Economics and Management of organizations and has been granted awards on various occasions for his professional accomplishments.
|Iruri Knörr. Vitoria-Gasteiz, 1979|
|A graduate in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of the Basque Country and Universität Hamburg and with a Master in Marketing Management from ESEIC, Iruri Knörr has gained experience in other companies and is currently Chief Marketing Officer of the start-ups accelerator Ideateca and mobile gaming and technology company HTML5 Ludei located in San Francisco, California. She is also Chief Executive Officer of the company Nolatan Ecommerce.|
|Iñaki San Sebastián. Villabona (Gipuzkoa), 1965|
|Iñaki San Sebastián is an Industrial Engineer from the University of Navarra (1989) and in 2007 he received a Master´s Degree in Business Management (MBA-Executive) from the University of Deusto. He started his professional career at Fatronik as a researcher working on projects related to the implementation of ICT in Manufacturing (1991).
In 1993 he was made responsible for the R & D Department and in 2000 he assumed the position of Deputy General Manager. In 2008 he was appointed General Manager of Fatronik. From 2008 to 2010 Mr. San Sebastián was also the Technology and Market Manager of Tecnalia Corporation. In 2010 Fatronik, with seven other Technological Centers, merged and became Tecnalia, where he was appointed Deputy Managing Director. Throughout his professional career he has belonged to several relevant national and international committees related to the design and strategy of Science and Technology Systems. Since 2010 he is member of the Executive Committee of EARTO, the European Association of Research and Technology Organizations (RTOs).
Since 2012 he is also member of the Steering Committee of EARTO and he is currently involved in several on-going initiatives such as leading the EARTO Working Group “RTO Approaches to Innovation”.
|Eguzki Urteaga. Biarritz, 1973|
|Eguzki Urteaga was born in Biarritz in 1973 and is Professor of Sociology at the University of the Basque Country. He has a PhD and degree in Sociology from Victor Segalen Bordeaux 2 University as well as a degree in History, specializing in Geography, from the University of Pau and Pays de l’Adour. He is the author of 29 books and over 150 articles, particularly in the field of sociology, language policy and immigration policy, focusing primarily on the Basque Country, but also on Europe, Latin America and Canada. He has been a visiting professor at several European universities (Bordeaux, Leuven and Brussels) and is also Collection Director for the publisher Mare et Martin of Paris.|
